Critique from Gundog and Best In Show Judge- Jane Eyeington

Lowestoft, Oulton Broad & District Canine Society
Open Show – 20th October 2013.
Judge – Mrs Jane Eyeington
I would like to thank the officers and committee for hosting a super show, on a rather cold and damp day.  Also to the exhibitors, for presenting their dogs in a clean and sportsman like way, and to my wonderful steward, who did a sterling jog – thank you The Special Hampers offered by the society were superb! I was delighted with the BIS line up, with some super dogs present, any of whom could have taken the top spot

Best In Show

J Wilcox                                -              Manoirs What A Blast
Bichon Frise – what a little show off this 2 year old bitch was, she walked into the ring and owned it.  When stood looked totally balanced, Lovely head, and good depth to body, immaculately presented and at one with her hander on the move, where she showed  good reach and drive and maintaining a lovely shape

Reserve Best In Show

Rainsbury & Hamilton    -              Jetsway Chaser
Bedlington Terrier – A 13 month old dog, who took my eye as he entered the big ring, with such an air of confidence and spirit yet showing himself off to advantage.  Found he had a balanced head piece, well placed ears and a dark eye. Reachy neck with good placement to give the characteristic high head carriage, good depth and  arch over the loin, shown in good coat and well presented
